TCU'S GARCIA TO PLAY FOR EL TRI
Will play against U.S.A. for Mexican NT

Kaylie Garcia faced up against the Mexican National Team last fall for TCU. Now she will play for El Tri in two games against the U.S.Women's National Team.

FORT WORTH, TX – Last fall, TCU junior Kaylie Garcia played against the Mexican Women’s National Team in a game that packed the Frogs’ Harvey-Rosenthal Stadium. El-Tri must have seen something they liked because Garcia recently received word that she has been selected to play for the Mexican National Team.
Garcia has already left for the camp and will battle the United States in consecutive-matches in San Diego and Salt Lake City, respectively, to close the month of March. The first match against the U.S. is set for March 28 at Torero Stadium on the campus of San Diego. The 4 p.m. CT contest will be shown live on the Fox Soccer Channel. The second match, which will be shown live on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. CT, will take place on March 31 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Utah.
Garcia, who closed the month of February at the Mexican National Team Training Camp, netted four goals, while dishing out three assists during the 2009 season.
