STILLWATER, Okla. - The 20th-ranked Baylor Bears wrapped up their three-match road trip with a scoreless draw against Oklahoma State Sunday at the Cowgirl Soccer Complex.

"I can't really be disappointed, because I thought we played well," head coach Marci Jobson said. "It has been a tough weekend. We have been traveling all over the place and have played two great teams. However, I am glad our girls feel a little disappointed, because that will motivate them for the final three games."

Baylor (11-1-4, 2-0-3) posted 25 shots, the most for the Bears in conference play, while holding Oklahoma State (10-4-3, 1-3-3) to only six. However, neither team was able to put a shot into the net as BU posted its 10th shutout of the season. All three games of Baylor's road trip went to double overtime as the Bears defeated Texas Tech, 3-2, and tied No. 25 West Virginia, 1-1, on Friday.

BU had plenty of scoring chances against OSU. Senior Dana Larsen led the way with seven shots, while Hanna Gilmore and Lisa Sliwinski each added four and Kat Ludlow had three. As a team, Baylor had eight shots on goal compared to only one for OSU.

Larsen had the best opportunity for the Bears in the first half, but her 26th-minute shot was tipped over the crossbar by OSU goalkeeper AD Franch. The Cowgirls’ best scoring chance of the half came in the 37th minute, when Kelsey Bass ripped a shot from the top of the box that diving Bears netminder Michelle Kloss punched up over the bar.

Larsen got off three shots in the first 10 minutes of the second half, and hit the crossbar in the 52nd.

Gilmore had a shot to put Baylor on the board in the 65th minute, but Franch made another save on a ball up over her head. Franch also swallowed up Katie Daigle's 35-yard free kick in the 74th.

"AD Franch was unbelievable," Jobson said. "That girl is legit. She made some big time saves and credit to her, because I think she is a fantastic keeper."

Perhaps Baylor's best opportunity to win the game came as the final seconds of regulation ticked off the clocked. Larsen pushed a pass from about nine yards out over to Karlee Summey, who was making a run down the left side. The junior, having worked past her defender to get to the ball knocked it just wide of the goal as the horn sounded.

"We have to do a better job with some of our opportunities, but that has been the story of our season," Jobson said. "We have had a lot of shots and we have to get a little better with those shots."

Franch saved Kat Ludlow's header in the ninth minute of the first overtime, and gobbled up Sliwinski’s 16-yarder in the 103rd. In the final 10 minutes, the Baylor defense withstood four corner kick chances from OSU to end the game in a tie.

The Bears played their third straight overtime game and the seventh of the season, which ties for the most in one season in program history. The 2009 squad also had seven. Baylor is 2-1-4 in overtime games this season.

The Bears return home for the final three games of the regular season, starting with Friday’s 7 p.m. match against Texas (7-7-1, 4-1).

"Any time you can play at home it is great," Jobson said. "There is no easy game in the Big 12, so it will be nice to play at our place and not travel.
