Oklahoma State’s Megan Marchesano

Oklahoma State senior forward Megan Marchesano has been selected as the Dallas Soccer News College Player of the Week for the Week ending October 14.

Marchesano scored twice and assisted on the equalizer as the Cowgirls rallied from three goals down to a 3-3 draw with the TCU Horned Frogs on Saturday. The Tulsa native started OSU’s comeback with a 19-yard free kick in the 36th minute. Five minutes into the second half, she collected her own rebound and beat goalkeeper Vittoria Arnold to make it a one-goal game at 3-2.

In the 54th minute, Marchesano brought the ball down the flank on a breakaway, then pulled up and centered a pass to Makenzie Kahan, whose 30-yard shot knotted the score at 3-3.
