Hoyas’ Neumann is men’s player of the week

Georgetown’s Steve Neumann has been named the Soccer News Net Men’s College Player of the Week for the week ending October 14.

Neumann scored both game winners in a 2-0 week for Georgetown.

Neumann scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 nonconference win against Lehigh, then in handing No 4/2 Marquette its first loss of the season, the junior forward assisted on the Hoyas’ first goal before scoring the game winner.
