Mustangs to host C-USA tournament
SMU just released the men's soccer schedule for 2008 and as usual, the Mustang men will be facing some of the country's top teams, both on the road and at home. Following conference play, SMU also hosts the USA Conference tournament at Westcott Nov. 12-16. In December, the Mustangs will host the NCAA championship semis and finals at Pizza Hut Park Stadium, hopefully as a participant.

FOUR CLUBS SPLIT STATE TITLES Girls' divisions more evenly divided
While the Dallas Texans won more North Texas State girls' titles Sunday than any other club, the trophy count was much more evenly distributed than the boys, which saw a 6-1 domination by the Texans. The Texans' girls counted three titles when the action quieted down, followed by two for Solar and a championship each for Sting and D'Feeters at Richland College. Complete

STANDING PAT IS STEP BACKWARDS
Team still needs more help
Last season, FC Dallas ended up as a decent offensive team looking for a clutch defense.
Praise head coach Steve Morrow for one mission accomplished. Dallas has already earned three clean sheets in just six games in the 2008 MLS season. Crucial signee Duilio Davino from Mexico’s Club America is just getting better every game in organizing the Dallas defense from his central role. Complete

Picking the right soccer camp
When I was growing up, there were no "girls only" camps to choose from. So all of my opinions come from what it was like to be a girl surrounded by 250 boys, with only a few girls. I didn't know any better back then, so it didn’t seem odd that there was no girls camp, but then again, I grew up playing ball in the street with all the boys in the neighborhood. Complete
