U23 REGIONAL TITLES ON TAP
Playing through Monday at Russell Creek

The U23 Region III championships are playing out at Russell Creek Park in Plano through Monday, June 15. Five of the seven teams are from North Texas, three of them in the Women’s Divison and two in the Men’s Division.

With four teams in the men’s division and three in the women’s, both divisions are determining championships by point total through round robin play. The regional champs will be eligible to move on to the national championships July 24-26 in Orlando, Florida.

Three games are scheduled Sunday, all at 10 a.m. In the men’s division, the North Texas Legends meet local rivals North Texas Azzuri on Field C. On Field D, Little Rock FC plays the Brandon Flames of Florida.
In the Women’s Division, the USA of North Texas plays the ’91 D’Feeters on Field E.

At 10 a.m. Monday in the men’s division, Azzuri takes on the Brandon Flames on Field C. The Legends will play Little Rock FC on Field D. The final women’s division game will feature the NTX Select against the ’91 D’Feeters on Field E.
