TWO NEW DALLAS TEAMS
Will debut in WPSL Big Sky South
SACRAMENTO, CA – Two new Dallas teams will make debuts in the Women’s Premier Soccer League in the upcoming 2011 season. Dallas Premier, which hosted the WPSL Championship Final Four last season, has bowed out of the league for the upcoming season, but fans and potential players in the league will be able to cheer on the American Eagles S.C. and F.C. Dallas, as well as the returning Fort Worth Panthers.

AJAX SURVIVES OKLAHOMA ATTACK
Will face FC Milwaukee for consolation title
RICHARDSON, TX---The final line on the second semifinal of the 2010 WPSL semifinal seemed normal enough. The favored Ajax America subdued the upstart Oklahoma Alliance 2-0 to send the seasoned California team to a Championship final in a 1 p.m. (CT) show down with the Boston Aztec, cardiac specialists of the East Coast that has survived two double overtime playoff wins. That is where normal ended.

BOSTON QUIETS MILWAUKEE 2-1
Faces Ajax America of L.A. in final
RICHARDSON, TX---Younger, bigger, stronger, faster is usually a combination to success. Those were the qualities the F.C. Milwaukee Nationals unloaded on the veteran Boston Aztec in semifinal action Saturday at the 2010 Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Final Four at UT-Dallas. But Milwaukee’s big push didn’t include goals on several prime opportunities—missed chances the Nationals would regret. Instead, the seasoned East Champs proved steady and consistent gets the job done with a controlled 2-1 victory in the 5 p.m. contest.

WPSL FINAL FOUR FIELD FILLED
Oklahoma added to L.A.,Milwaukee, Boston
With the Oklahoma Alliance’s 3-0 victory Thursday night over the Phoenix Del Sol, the WPSL Final Four field is complete. The teams start arriving in Dallas today and will start the competition Saturday at the University of Texas /Dallas.

Weather has forced Dallas Premier SC to move this weekend’s tryouts to John Paul II High School. The Sting Soccer Complex, where the tryouts were scheduled, is rain soaked.

FW PANTHERS CHANGE TRYOUTS
For WPSL team
Tryouts for the WPSL Fort Worth Panthers, scheduled for May 1-2, have been rescheduled for May 8. The training field is off Riverside Dr. near the intersection of I-30 and Hwy 287. The time both days is 4-6 p.m.

North Texas WPSL teams will again make a big splash in 2010, bigger than ever, actually, with the Dallas Premier team hosting the WPSL Final Four July 31-Aug.1 . Area players still have time to try out for either team; the Fort Worth Panthers May 1-2 and Dallas Premier on May 14-16.

NEW ALIGNMENT
WPSL places Dallas & FtW teams in Big Sky South
SACRAMENTO, Ca---The Women’s Premier Soccer League has announced a tentative divisional alignment for 2010, that will feature five conferences. Dallas Premier Women's S.C. and the Fort Worth F.C. have been placed in the Big Sky Conference’s South Division.
