STATE CUP DEADLINES ANNOUNCED

North Texas State Soccer Association has announced the registration deadlines for this year’s State Cup competition, which is the starting point for teams to earn their way to regional and national competitions.
Along with the March 5 deadline, teams should be ready to pay the entry fee of $575.00. Applications will not be accepted until the payment is received. Late registration will be accepted until March 12, but a late fee of $250 will be added.
The State Cup dates for U11—U18 teams are May 1-2, 2010 and semifinals are scheduled May 8-9. The U19 teams will compete from June 4—6.
Teams can register online at the NTSSA website at www.ntxsoccer.org, or can go to the NTSSA office at 1740 S. I-35, Suite 105, Carrollton, TX 75006. Telephone number for the state soccer office is 972-323-1323.
Teams U11 through U13 will be competing at the state level only. Winners will not be able to advance to the regional level. Any team already registered with North Texas State Soccer is eligible to enter if all registered players were at least 10 years old by July 31, 2009.
Championship teams U14 and older through U19 can advance to the 2010 Southern Regional in Baton Rouge in dates June 17-23, 2010. Winning teams at the regional level advance to the US Youth Soccer nationals at the end of July.
