Texas A&M’s Alyssa Mautz was named the NSCSAA National Player of the Week today. First, the Aggies’ Mautz earned Big 12 Player of the Week honor, announced yesterday by the Big 12 Conference office. All she did was score three goals in propelling Texas A&M to a 5-3 win over then-16th-ranked Virginia Tech on Friday. Two days later, she scored the only and game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over 24th-ranked Washington State. She had the game-winning goal in both games. Not surprisingly, Mautz was named the NSCAA National Player of the Week.

COLLEGE STATION, TX – The Texas A&M soccer team continued to roll on in a pair of shutouts over North Texas and Utah on Saturday at Aggie Soccer Stadium. The Maroon remains undefeated in its 2010 spring season. The Aggies (6-0) downed the Mean Green, 2-0, and the Utes, 3-0.

COLLEGE STATION, TX--Texas A&M, ranked the top college soccer team in Texas, had to work overtime to put down Loyola University Sunday in a 2-1 victory in a nationally-televised match Sunday at the Aggie Soccer Stadium. Junior Whitney Hooper provided the heroics by scoring the game-winning goal 3:12 into overtime to give the 14th-ranked Aggie soccer team the win.
