CARY, NC----Texas A&M’s Ashlee Pistorious is one of three finalists for the 2007 Missouri Athletic Club Hermann Trophy. The award is the highest individual honor in intercollegiate soccer. The finalists were determined in voting by Division I women’s soccer coaches who are members of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Senior forward Ashlee Pistorius broke the Texas A&M career record for goals scored (81) and total points (194) as she led the Aggie soccer team (18-3-2) to a 4-1 victory over the Stephen F. Austin Ladyjacks (13-5-2) to advance to NCAA Second Round play on Thursday night at the Aggie Soccer Stadium.

TAMU score four in 13-minutes to win 4-2
Re-connecting after an emotional victory over the University of Texas two days earlier proved very difficult for the Texas A&M Aggies (11-2-1, 5-1-0) Sunday against the visiting Colorado Buffaloes (7-4-3, 3-3-0). TAMU trailed 2-0 at halftime, but snapped out of the doldrums in crunch time, posting four goals in a 13-miute span in the second half to claim a 4-2 Big 12 victory.

The fifth-ranked Texas A&M soccer team wasn’t about to let the second-largest crowd ever at Aggie Soccer Stadium go away disappointed, even after the Maroon and White had to play a man down from the 32nd minute on during the game. TAMU scored a goal in each half to knock off the fourth-ranked Texas Longhorns 2-0 Friday in front of 5,552 screaming fans at Aggie Soccer Stadium.
