IRVING, TX - The NCAA playoff-bound Baylor soccer team isn’t just successful on the field. Its players compiled a program best 16 student-athletes named to the Academic All-Big 12 team, including a BU record 13 on the first-team. Baylor's record total number of student-athletes and first-team members were the most by any school.

After tying Missouri, Bears exit via penalties
SAN ANTONIO, TX – After a full season of playing at or above its potential, the Baylor soccer team (14-3-3) failed to advance beyond the opener of the Big 12 Championship Tournament. The Bears tied the Missouri (12-7-1) 2-2, but the Tigers advanced via a 4-3 edge in penalty kicks Wednesday at the Blossom Soccer Stadium in San Antonio, Texas.

WACO, TX -- The Baylor soccer team (14-3-2, 5-2-1) used a pair of second half goals to propel itself past Oklahoma (6-12, 1-6) 3-1 Sunday evening at Betty Lou Mays Field. The victory wraps up the regular season and gives the Bears their most regular season wins since 1998 (15) and most Big 12 triumphs since 2000 (6).

WACO, TX -- Despite a crowd of 1,008, the fifth largest in program history, the Baylor soccer team (13-3-2, 4-2-1) fell to No. 2 Oklahoma State (16-0-1, 5-0-1) 1-0 on Friday night at Betty Lou Mays Field. The crowd was the biggest to see a BU home match since Oct. 11, 2002 against Texas A&M. The game was an opportunity to grab the lead in the Big 12 race, but the Bears were just a little short.

WACO, TX – Defense, as usual, carried the day for Baylor University in a scoreless draw with Texas Tech. Despite a 16-11 shot advantage, the Bears (9-2-2, 1-1-1) could not extract a goal from Texas Tech (7-3-2, 1-0-1) at Betty Lou Mays Field Friday night, but Baylor has yet to lose (7-0-1) at home this season.

AUSTIN, TX – After losing an emotional Big-12 opener to Texas A&M last week, the Baylor Bears showed the Green and Gold will still have a big say in the conference race, upending the Texas Longhorns 1-0 in Austin, before 3,867, the fifth largest in Texas soccer history.
