Kenny Cooper was again selected as an MLS Goal of the Week nominee for his thunderous equalizer in full stride early in the second half against Real Salt Lake. Cooper's effort, his fifth goal of the season, puts him past last year's injury-shortened season total of four markers.

FCD FALLS IN UTAH, 2-1
Dallas now winless in last three games
Jason Kreis finally got a little payback against his former Dallas team, even though the RSL coach wasn't sitting on the bench to enjoy it. He sat out this match because of a one-game suspension by the MLS after he made disparaging remarks about the league referees after his team's 2-2 tie with the Galaxy.

But his team got the job done without him, stopping a three-game winless streak with a 2-1 victory over the Hoops Saturday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Road win would keep FCD in 1st place
Defense has become Dallas' calling card with only five goals allowed in six matches and just one goal in the last four. But a sluggish offense that has not scored in two games is slowing the Hoops' Western Conference quest. FCD aims to get back in the offensive mode Saturday in Utah, visiting Real Salt Lake at Rice-Eccles Stadium (8 p.m.CT).
