UNT LOSES FOURTH STRAIGHT
Rival Denver prevails 3-2 in OT
North Texas came off the road and a disastrous three-game losing skid to finish its regular season home schedule Friday against Denver, the Mean Green’s hardcore Sun Belt Conference rival. Despite its perfect record of 8-0 at the NT Soccer Field, UNT could not find comfort. Denver prevailed 3-2 on an overtime goal by Mariah Johnson to push her team’s record to 10-4-4, 7-2-2.

UNT BLANKS SOUTH ALABAMA 2-0
Mean Green perfect 8-0 at home
The University of North Texas has rolled to a commanding lead in the Sun Belt Conference race with a perfect 6-0 record. South Alabama was the latest victim, falling 2-0 at NT Soccer Field Sunday afternoon. The win pushed the Mean Green to its best-ever start in school history at 12-0.

Mean Green dispatches Troy 3-0
Seeing Brittany Cleveland and Janaye Woods find the back of the net is becoming a common occurrence this season and it was again Friday night as the North Texas women’s soccer team rolled past Troy 3-0 at the NT Soccer Field.

UNT edges Florida Atlantic 1-0
It was a trio of true freshman that powered the North Texas (10-2, 4-0) women’s soccer team to a 1-0 win over Florida Atlantic. The victory, the Mean Green’s fourth straight, came on the road.

Four players score for UNT in road win
Four different players scored goals as the North Texas women’s soccer team won an intense and physical game in the Sunshine State, 4-2, against Florida International to remain perfect in conference play. The game featured 33 fouls and three yellow cards but the Mean Green (9-2, 3-0) came from behind to pick up its third straight win.

Mean Green edged 1-0 by Sooners
The perfect start to the season for the North Texas (6-1) women’s soccer team came to an end as Oklahoma (4-2-1) knocked off the Mean Green 1-0 at the Sooner Invitational September 21.

UNT DRILLS GRAMBLING STATE 4-0
Mean Green perfect in 6-0 start
Two goals less than one minute apart in the second half awoke the North Texas women’s soccer team en route to a 4-0 win over Grambling State from the North Texas Soccer Field Sunday. After a scoreless first half of play, the Mean Green offense came to life for four second-half goals in a rout over the Tigers.

Eagles first half goals topple TWU
In the first game of the season it was a night of seconds for the North Texas women’s soccer team. Powered by Gennifer Hurst and Veronica Ayala’s first half goals the Mean Green (1-0) got past cross town rival TWU 2-0 at the North Texas Soccer Field in a Denton Derby.

Mean Green settles for 2nd in Sun Belt
LAFAYETTE, La. - The North Texas women’s soccer team had its reign atop the Sun Belt Conference come to an end as the Denver Pioneers captured the Sun Belt Conference Tournament title with a 4-0 victory. The Mean Green, who had won the previous two conference titles, finishes the regular season with 15 victories.

Mean Green rallies to win 3-1
With the season hanging in the balance, the North Texas (15-4-2) women’s soccer team scored three second-half goals to rally and beat Middle Tennessee 3-1 and advance to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship game for the seventh straight season.

UNT heads to Sun Belt tournament as third-seed
Facing the hottest team in the conference, the North Texas women’s soccer team fell to the Denver Pioneers 2-0 at the Pioneer Soccer Field. The Pioneers' (15-2-1, 11-0) win clinches the regular season Sun Belt Conference title and the top seed in the SBC tournament while North Texas (13-4-2, 9-2) will enter the conference tournament as the third-seed.

In a back and forth battle the North Texas women’s soccer team had its 23-game home unbeaten streak snapped as Middle Tennessee escaped with a 3-2 win from the North Texas Soccer Field.

Late goal by Radford gives Mean Green 2-1 win
Senior Julie Radford scored the game-winning goal in the 86th minute to propel the North Texas soccer team to a 2-1 victory against Western Kentucky on Friday night at the North Texas Soccer Field.
